MAMARONECK, N.Y. --Residents will have plenty of opportunities to get involved in their local governent this week.
Monday
The Village Board of Trustees The board will hold its regular meeting at 7:30 p.m. in the Courtroom, where it will consider a resolution authorizing the submission of a draft Multi-Hazard Pre-Disaster Plan to FEMA for review and comment. It will also consider a resolution authorizing the issuance of a bid for the purchase of two or more Toyota Prius Parking Enforcement Vehicles. The board will also schedule a public hearing for its Feb. 27 meeting to extend the moratorium on open space development for another three months (March 7 through June 6). The moratorium prohibits the subdivision of land or approval of any site plans or special permits on land consisting of or creating four or more units.

Tuesday
The village will hold night court at 8 p.m. in the Courtroom.
Wednesday
The village Harbor and Coastal Zone Management Commission will meet at 7:30 p.m. in the Courtroom.
The Mamaroneck Town Board will hold a work session at 5 p.m. in Conference Room A, then re-adjourn for its regular meeting at 8 p.m. in the Courtroom at Town Center. The board will hold a public hearing to eliminate the Historic Records Committee. The board decided that there in no longer a need for the committee, because of the upgrades in its archiving standards.
Thursday
The village Board of Architectural Review will meet at 7:30 p.m. in the Courtroom.
